So you’ve heard of people using Water Dispensers, both at home and in offices. Are they necessary? I mean think about it. The water in Singapore is clean isn’t it? If it comes down to survival, even the water from our toilets is cleaner than the water in a lot of other countries. So why do you need a dispenser?
Here are 5 Reasons why:
The Pipelines.
The Water in Singapore is clean, no doubt. But how clean do you think the pipes are? Are they replaced regularly? Are they cleaned? Older buildings have pipelines that have been around for decades, and we drink water through them every single day.
Gets rid of chemicals.
Chlorine is used to disinfect and clean our water. But chlorine remains in the water even after this process. Water is much healthier and actually tastes better with chlorine removed.
Convenience.
You get to have hot or cold water on demand. No more using kettles to boil water before you make yourself some coffee. Also, fun fact: Water dispensed from a water dispenser ranges from 93 – 96°C, the perfect temperature for a perfect cup of coffee. GOOGLE IT.
Preference.
People simply prefer water from a dispenser as when compared to hard water from the tap. We have no idea if it’s sound logic or some psychological compulsion, but that’s that. Use this as an excuse to cut down on sugared drinks and hydrate. Instead of that coke in your fridge, reach to your dispenser instead.
Taste.
Filtered water that is used in cooking actually enhances the dishes themselves. Take note, we’re talking about simple, pure and clean filtered water here. None of those fancy Reverse Osmosis or Alkaline Shenanigans.
